Book metadata and reader-rating summaries come from Open Library. This catalog was retrieved on September 18, 2026. Work-level page counts can differ between editions.

The community-rating model was trained by ReadMeMaybe using Goodbooks-10k by Zygmunt Zając (revision 6dd165b555a7b47b2dd36743a425776e641ff50c). Training transforms curated author, genre, language, and publication-year features into a ridge-regression estimate of mean community rating. It does not predict whether you will finish a book.

The dataset publisher distributes Goodbooks-10k under CC BY-SA 4.0. Our derived model weights are offered under the same license. Full license.

Recommendations use your selected preferences and a seen-book list kept in this browser between visits. This public version does not record clicks or reading progress in the prototype’s Kafka pipeline.
